 5 Electrical work safety tips

Our health and safety standards compel a usability and attitude audit through occasional site observation.
1. Never repair any equipment when power is on . Always check that power is off using a Tester. To know that current is still flowing in that equipment is when you put an electric tester touches a live wire and the bulb inside the tester lights up

2. If you are working on any electrical socket at your home then always turn off the main switch. And also its good to put up a sign on the service panel so that nobody turns the main switch ON by accident.
3. Avoid working on electricity when you have water in your hands because It increases the conductivity of the electric current.
4. Always use insulated rubber gloves and goggles while working on any branch circuit or any other electrical circuit.
5. Always make sure that your tool is insulated before using otherwise in not insulated current can pass through it . Electrical safety
